I have a Family Photoshoot, what should I expect?

Our photographic style is fun, candid and informal. Primarily we aim to capture the excitement and emotion of our clients through a series of natural, spontaneous images. We will create a piece of history and nostalgia for your families to hand down to the generations to come.
It is essential that you come prepared for this fun approach to photography by dressing in casual, comfortable attire. This will enable us to create flattering images, which make the most of your personality and mood. We aim to capture the unique relationship and interaction you have with your family members.


Why is a Family photo shoot so important to me?

Amid the frenzy of everyday lives – pause- stop and think about who and what are truly important in your life? The people closest to you. Husband. Wife. Partner. Your first Baby. A second. A Third… Children. Parents. Grandparents. Family. Friends. Billy the Border Terrier. Dave the Cat!
Think about the special bonds that you have with them. Remind yourself that these are the people and the relationships that shape the story of your life. Children, for instance, only grow up once.
Yours is a story that deserves to be told. Not in words. But in beautiful images. Images to take away and display in your home. A permanent reminder of who and what is most important in life.


What should I bring?

  • Your experience voucher (if you have one)
  • Casual clothing suitable for our white room studio
  • Props and items relating to your favourite items/hobbies/sports. Etc.
  • Baby/Pet wipes and treats depending on shoot
  • Some form of payment, we accept all major credit cards, with the exception of Amex and Solo. We no longer accept cheques.

 

I have a Makeover and Photoshoot, What should I expect?

We have a fabulous fully equipped makeover suite, providing the ultimate girly photography indulgence.
We offer 3 types of makeover experiences, all you need to do is decide which best suits your needs, then simply relax in our opulent lounge.
Initially, you will be offered some refreshments and our professional Makeup artist will talk you through your experience, establishing what your requirements are. Don’t worry if you feel nervous, this is quite natural and our team will make you feel at home.
You will be treated to a fabulous contemporary hair style and the application of stunningly attractive makeup. Following your makeover you will step into our state of the art fashion photography studio, containing a range of stunning purpose built sets.
If you wish to upgrade your experience to a ‘For The Girls VIP’ you will receive Champagne and Strawberries, coffee and luxurious chocolates. This also includes a complimentary luxury makeover experience for your friend, and a print of your choice upgraded in size.
We choose to believe in a world of indulgence, you can never be spoilt enough.


What should I Bring?

  • Clean, dry hair with no products in (Please wash your hair the night before)
  • No Makeup on your face
  • Outfits and accessories including shoes and jewellery
  • Manicured or painted nails
  • Hair wefts and/or eyelash extensions
  • Some form of payment, we accept all major credit cards, with the exception of Amex and Solo. We no longer accept cheques.

 

Why do I need to pay a booking deposit?

Our Studio Sessions are very popular, and to ensure your appointment is guaranteed we require a £30 booking deposit to secure your Makeover Experience or £20 if you are having a Family studio session. The deposit also covers your viewing session. This must be made to secure your appointment, or your appointment will not be booked.
This is a Company Policy put in place to make sure people turn up for their appointments and if they don’t the stylists, photographers and viewing co-ordinators fees are covered and we are not left with a bill and an empty studio.  All we ask is that Customers who cannot attend their studio appointment or viewing session telephone us with 2 working days notice so that we can re-book somebody else in. Please note a Thursday and Sunday are not working days for our studio.

 

I have made an appointment, but need to change or cancel it:

If you cannot attend either your studio session, makeover experience or viewing session on the dates or times you have arranged, please telephone us so that we can re-arrange your appointment and your deposit will be carried over to confirm your new appointment, providing we have been given 2 working days notice. Please note a Thursday and Sunday are not working days for our studio.

 

Travelling and Parking:

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, which can be found on your appointment card.
There are limited car parking facilities at the front of our building, you are welcome to use these, however during busy periods you may struggle to find a space. There is a pay and display car park next to our studio, which charges £2.60 for up to 4 hours parking. Please ensure you bring change for the pay and display machine.

 


When will I get to see the images from my shoot?

Your images will be enhanced, retouched and cropped before putting onto a digital disc, ready for viewing at a time agreed after your photographic session.  We know you will be excited to see your images and we do have the facilities to carry out your viewing session the same day as your photography session in some instances. If you have been allocated a same day viewing, which usually takes place an hour after your photography session, we will contact you to inform you. If we cannot fit you in for a same day viewing, we will book a convenient time for you to come back to the studio to see your photographs on another day.

 

I have a gift Experience Voucher what am I entitled to?

If you have purchased a voucher from a website or high street retailer, your details will have been passed to us. The complimentary experience itself is offered to our customers at a total cost to ourselves, including the free print (if you have one), which is given away to you to showcase our work.

 

I have won a prize at an event, what am I entitled to?

As a successful local business we like to support local charities and events with prize draws and competitions. We do this to raise the profile and reputation of our Company. We are able to offer our customers the opportunity to come and sample our services and hopefully love the photographs we take. We give a complimentary print to our winners to showcase our work.


Do I have to purchase extra photographs?

You are under no obligation, however If you are happy with the photographs we have taken for you, we hope that you will want further prints from your photography session. We have many different products available to showcase your photographs, please see our product list for further details.


How long will my photographs take to be produced?

This depends on the type of product you order.
